During the business year 2014/2015, which ended on 30 June 2015, the company achieved a sales volume of €3.49 billion. This corresponds to an increase of €267 million or 8.3 per cent. In its home market of Germany, the company grew by €53 million to €1.03 billion (plus 5.4 per cent). Outside of Germany the sales growth was 10.1 per cent. The Miele group employs 17,741 people worldwide, 10,346 of them in Germany (as of 30 June 2015).
